In what I am sure many of us hope is the first in many Madame Catarina has decided to subtitle a movie from the archive. For the first time ever Chapter One of Bootlicker as Retro Shoe Shine Machine is now available with English subtitles. And what an amazing movie it is.

The story is that Madame Catarina has returned from a trip on an old sailing ship in Egypt with her two suitcases and large travelling trunk. Her boots and high heels are dusty from the desert and covered in horse sweat and dung. Luckily, Madame Catarina always keeps bootlicker cooped up in the large trunk when she travels so that he can keep her shoes and boots in perfect condition. Everything he needs for this is in the suitcases, but the most important shoe cleaning tool is his tongue.

I love the idea of Madame Catarina owning a slave solely for shoe and boot cleaning and that he is kept in a travelling trunk when Madame Catarina travels the world. In Chapter One we see Madame Catarina elegantly dressed in black seamed nylons and a transparent skirt and top inspect the state of her shoes and boots after her trip abroad. She decides that a human shoe shine machine is needed and unpacks bootlicker from his trunk. He is then forced to clean mistresses open toed high heels whilst still kneeling in the travelling trunk.
