 I have a confession to make.

I can’t remember when I first saw the work of Sardax!

 I am guessing it was some time in the early 1990s in Zeitgeist magazine.

In one way it is very strange that I can’t remember exactly when I first saw his work considering the impact his art has had on my psyche over the years. There again, maybe the effect of seeing those images was so immediate and spoke to me at such a deep level it became difficult to envisage a time when they were not part of my life.

I can’t think now of a time when these images did not haunt me, did not fuel my fantasies or were not such a reference point. I am sure a lot of slaves at some point have felt that the inside of their head was like a Sardax illustration…or maybe it is just…
